Slow Sport & Relaxation – moving in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Completely out of your head and back to yourself. During our Slow Sports training at Soof Heuvelrug in Rhenen, you combine movement, relaxation, and nature in one enjoyable session.

We gather at a quiet spot in the park and from there walk together into the nature of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The session lasts about 60 minutes and consists of a varied combination of walking and exercises from different disciplines, such as light strength training, Pilates, yoga, and playful movement activities.

For all levels

The exercises are tailored, so everyone can participate. Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience: it is not about performance, but about relaxed movement at your own pace.

Relaxation is key

During the session, the focus is on calm, enjoyment, and mindful movement. You leave the busyness of everyday life behind and experience what it means to truly slow down – exactly what Slow stands for.

We end the session with breathing and relaxation exercises, so you return feeling fully recharged.

Ending together

You finish back at the starting location at Soof Heuvelrug in Rhenen, feeling relaxed and full of new energy. For those who like, we can enjoy a cup of tea together afterwards. A relaxed moment to reflect and unwind in good company. Including this final moment, the total experience lasts about 1.5 hours.
